Lachlan is an accomplished government relations expert, CEO, and community leader with a diverse background in public service, corporate leadership, and political strategy.
Before joining PremierNational, Lachlan held several senior roles within the NSW Government, where he contributed to significant law reforms and played a central role in advancing high-volume legislation in key sectors such as Sport & Tourism and Resources.
In addition to his public service work, Lachlan has run and advised on multiple election campaigns, gaining deep insight into the political process and developing strong networks across both government and the private sector. As CEO, Lachlan has demonstrated exceptional leadership, building and maintaining strategic relationships and guiding organisations through periods of growth and transformation. He now brings this leadership to the organisation as Partner.
Lachlan’s commitment to community and social impact is reflected in his sitting on two boards of registered charities that he co-founded. His passion for giving back to the community drives his philanthropic work, which complements his professional achievements. Prior to his career in government relations, Lachlan practised as a criminal lawyer at the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), honing his legal and advocacy expertise.
Lachlan holds a Bachelor of Laws from Queensland University of Technology (QUT) and a Master of Business (Sports Management) from Deakin University, Melbourne, Australia’s leading sports management institution. He is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).
