QUICK REFORM PROGRESS OVERVIEW

REFORM + PRECINCT TRACKER

National Party member Kevin Anderson has represented the electoral district of Tamworth for over 11 years. He was previously Minister for Better Regulation and Innovation from April 2019 to December 2021. Since then, he has served as Minister for Lands and Water and additionally Minister for Hospitality and Racing.

Anderson was raised across numerous locations from Victoria to Papua New Guinea while his family worked in fishing, receiving education by correspondence. His private career included signals operation for the RAAF and 11 years as a journalist with regional former television station Prime. He then began working for the Hunter New England Area Health Service, managing communications and business development. He was also a director of Centreboard Media, a regional communications consultancy, and ran his own Tamworth operation as Kevin Anderson Communications. His philanthropic and community group engagements include the Salvation Army and Westpac Rescue Helicopter.

In his first speech to Parliament, Anderson spoke about securing reliable health services in regional NSW, educational training and opportunities in the regions, and decentralisation of regional air travel regulation. He will run for a likely fourth term at the 2023 NSW State Election and remain a long-term performer in the Perrottet Ministry.
